I got hold of yet one more display.
This one has about half as many signals to interface and also has a character generator. I will start with this one alphanumeric and later turn to the bigger one for graphical information.

Look at that nice clock
The clock was easier to fix than I thought.
The grounding probe had slipped from the logic analyzer and when I put it back everything was ok.

Some problems
This picture shows that I have switched in and output of the SPI and that I have ringings on the clock line.
The switch will be easy and the ringings a little harder to fix.

12 Connections
It turned out to be 12 cords with the supply voltage. I newer joined soldering school so I guess I need to check the solderings and tripple check the connections.
